This camp is geared to kids aged 9-16 years
Camp runs from 9 am to 4 pm. This is an immersive hands-on cooking camp. We go over the steps, cover the key cooking principals of each recipe and practice knife skills, measuring, folding, kneading and of course tasting and adjusting. We start every day making breakfast. We plan lunch with sides and cover different cuisines so kids are exposed to a variety of different flavours and textures. We also bake something awesome every day. We have a minimum one instructor to 4 camper ratio. Campers are given lots of choice and lots of encouragement. We have excursions to the grocery store and farmers’ market. No need to pack lunches or snacks — but also no problem at all if your child wants to. Maximum 8 kids!
