Inclusive, Hands-on Cooking Classes

Small, inclusive classes that focus on developing life skills, healthy eating habits and having FUN!

Dickie's Cooking School prides itself in being a small, boutique school. Because our class sizes are limited, it allows us to give invaluable one-on-one attention. Most importantly, this lets you develop cooking skills at your own pace.

Cooking is an essential skill and we believe everyone can and should, learn to cook. Our in-person and virtual cooking classes for members the Toronto Down Syndrome Association and the Autistic community concentrate on developing life skills and healthy eating habits. I am thrilled to apply my training and education as a former Special Education Teacher with the Toronto District School Board to teaching life skills to the Special Needs community. These classes are a great opportunity to socialize, make friends and have fun.

What To Expect

Expect to eat. All classes start with a snack (usually fresh baked bread, tea and coffee and some fruit). The classes move at a steady pace and combine instructional and hands on learning. You will always go home with samples (unless you eat everything there).

Come wearing comfortable, supportive closed-toe shoes and dress in casual comfortable clothing.
